I made these 4 inch ornament cards with scraps of paper I had from last year. I colored these stamped and digi images from Pink Cat Studio with either Prismacolor pencils and or Copic markers. I had fun creating these cards and I hope it will work for them and help make a Keiki Smile this upcoming holiday season. :)
Anywho, I hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween. Mines was eventful as it is every year with my son, my mom, my sister, and her family. Every year we meet up at my mother's house and head up the road to walk in a subdivision with the kids to go trick o' treatin. It gets really packed on the streets and it's hard to drive your car down the road. My nephew is 4 years old and I just miss those days with my son, so he's my excuse to join in on a relaxing walk and see what kinds of creative costumes other people have put together. I must say that there were pretty interesting handmade costumes. Not only the children played Halloween roles, I've seen a lot of adults dressed in costumes as well. Hmmm, maybe next year I'll be brave enough to dress up. Maybe something scary.
I hope my sister doesn't scream at me for posting this, but wth...she posted it on FB and IG. Hee hee! This picture was taken before we went trick o' treating and we had loads of laughs. I will forever remember these precious moments I have with my family. I call this next picture...The Dysfunctional Avengers with Batgirl. LOL!!! ^_^
And last but not least...I finally made me a paper shoe. I've been seeing all these cute paper slippers and shoes and I've been wanting to try my hand at it. I'm still embarrassed to post the picture because after all, it is my first paper shoe. I was convinced by my loving and crazy family that I should just GO FOR IT! So, without further ado...here it is...
I added that friendly spider, (Btw, I'm really afraid of spiders), at the last minute. Don't ask me why. LOL! I had the Brenda Walton Ballroom Slippers Sizzix die siting in my container collecting dust and possibly cobwebs. I was intimidated and thought it was going to be hard to assemble. I'm glad I took it out and tried it out. I found out it was really quick and easy to assemble this shoe! Using a hot glue gun helped the shoe stay together nicely. Okay, so next one, I will try an "open-toe" slipper style.
Thanks for stopping in. Time to put my head down to rest...take care
